As some may have picked up, a little outfit who are very evasive about their funding (AdTI) are to write a book about the history of UNIX (ehm, try a search on google about that one huh?:)

Last year I had the pleasure of getting to read Tanenbaum’s book: ‘Operating Systems’ as a part of my CS at NTNU. Well, well. Turns out that the author have taken the time to publish some of the facts from a conversation he had with the AdTI author, Brown. You may find the stuff at http://www.cs.vu.nl/~ast/brown/. It’s interesting reading, and I highly recomend it 🙂
