TLUG BBQ, more wheels on fire +some ranting :p
April 28th, 2004 by Anders Kringstad

After a very successfull BBQ-session with members from Trondheim Linux User Group I got Stein Magnus (jodal) to join me on a bikeride last nite. The BBQ included me getting rid of 2 kgs of sliced chicken wich was due for removal from my fridge in june anyways :p

The bikeride took us from nerdehaven, over to Singsaker Student home were Stein Magnus got his bikinggear and of we went. Next up was Nardo, and from there we took the now familiar route outside the E6-highway up to Voll. After a quick stop to have some water we took the last hill up to Lohove, entering Dragvoll after a ride of 1 hour or so. Since Stein Magnus hadnt really been to Campus Dragvoll before we took a swing around some of campus and got to see the huge (empty) parkinglot. Cruiseing down from Dragvoll we allmost got run down by a stupid cardriver who did not intend to stop for us, and entered Chalottenlund. After just sitting on our seats down the hills from Chalottenlund the small hills towards Lade was only a pleasent ride. Since we were all out there I showed Stein Magnus my former highschool Ringve VGS and then we headed home, across the Lade peninsula, the harbour and finally across Bakklandet.

Ofcourse I got a bit tired after all this biking, and came to work ten minutes late today. After work today I will go to my grandparents for dinner, and then I’m going to meet with my uncle to discuss a new logo for both NetCore and TLUG. (He works as a graphical designer and all.)

As of now I really look forward to the sping. The sun is shining allmost every day, and the little rain that we get is only healthy. Soon it’s May, and I will be going to Oslo, then Spain.

In other news I have been quite bussy with one of the new NetCore projects of late, learning new stuff both usefull at work and at home: Check out https://tannery.netcore.no/ if you want to know more about it 🙂
