To loose a part of your body may seem as something hard to grasp. To me it was like waking up in the middle of a nightmare and not knowing that I had been dreaming. It turned out that I had not lost the whole tooth after all. It was one quarter of it. As weird as it may seem, I were happy with that. What happened afterwards I am not quite so happy with. The dentist had a jolly good time for 45 minutes fixing up my mouth and the pain.. the pain.. the pain were too bad to explain here in written words. After some hours I got a painkiller from Jorunn and it quickly faded. For the past two days I have been trying to grasp the fact that I no longer have a pure mouth. I have now two teeth-replacements in it, and they both look weird and feel ‘different’.
Also in other news, the tickets for The Gathering 2005 are sold out, again, or nearly. As of this morning there were about 800 tickets in the queue and twice as many people waiting in the virtual ticket-row to get one. This year I’ll be going there again, to laugh, play, enjoy and to be a part of the worlds greatest computerparty. Maybe not the largest any more, but by far the best 🙂 Hope you’ll all will come 🙂
AuLAN:Heat is also prodding forward and we have, as written earlier landed quite a few nice partners for the event. Novell and Canonical Ltd. are well respected companies and now it may seem we’re about to get even more. Trondheim Kommune, by the citys board for children and youth have decided to sponsor the ticket-bands for the attendees. PC1, one of the nice PC-shops in the city have told that they’re happy to provide us with two kick-ass computers to serve as servers in the main serverpool, along with some gifts to give out as prices in competitions. Currently, 135 people have signed up for tickets, and the party is still more than two months out. 🙂
